Hi, I need to upload a file using PHP by sending the url of the file.I have had no issues when sending an upload with the 'file' parameter. But when I try the upload with the 'file_url' parameter I always get a response of :Response Error #3: <url> malformedI have tried to send a youtube url, as well as a local URL and I get the same error. For example I sent:1) blob:https://test.ikid.club/a40c18e5-529d-48be-9baa-ddff7455a2052) https://youtu.be/cHOcy04BbrAI have also tried both images and videos and always the same response. What is the format of the url I am to send?
I have users that load videos wich that have the "video/quicktime" format. I have tried doing a remote upload of those files but they are not recognized as valid.
My second option is to transform that uploaded file into a blob using javascript and then send the video using the blob url.
That seems to not be working as well.
What option do I have to send these video/quicktime files to publit.io? any tips or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
It looks like uploadRemoteFile doesn't support video. Is this correct?.
Got it, so you do support importing videos from YouTube or Vimeo links
Is there any way to export the list of file names and URL's for what we have in Publitio in a csv or spreadsheet? It would save me hours of time if I could do this.
Seriously. Publitio is great but your answer leaves a little to be desired. Can you give me a better clue about which SDK and what type of custom programming? Just so I can begin my journey of looking for someone to help me with this.
I am new to this plugin.I have synced the images after using offloading plugin with everything default. It saved all the images to thumbnail as file version in publitio. But after i delete for example one image directly from my wordpress media library,it does not show up on the web page anymore. Do i miss anything and how could i fix it? Thanks,Yu
Yes Yuchuan, that is correct. And you do have option to delete local images but do it ONLY through plugin settings option (Delete files from Media library once uploaded to Publitio) as this is Advanced feature
I am having problems uploading video files. Publitio shows several upload failures and Processing has already exceeded 2 hours for 8 short video files. Is there a problem with your site? Thanks
we updated some server configurations yesterday, maybe that was the issue. if still having problems send us an message via https://publit.io/contact or via chat support to investigate
I see in the API documentation there is an option to create a video using URL. but I wasn't able to successfully call that API. Can you provide with sample payload?
It is simple, just pass file_url=yourVideoUrl to File Create (upload) call ::
https://api.publit.io/v1/files/create?yourApiSignature&file_url=https://media.publit.io/file/butterflies.mp4
Can you give info when you are going to release team access for users?
Hi. The best solution for writing discussion posts was to contact the service https://writepaper.com/write-my-discussion-post . After all, he gave me not only a quality result, but also excellent service. Specialists consulted with me, discussing all the details of the work, and later I was able to get an excellent result.
I've activated and set publitio offloading wp plugin: https://tinyurl.com/uykv8r9
after the syncronization, some images are now replaced by a black background, on which "the image does not exist."
see this image: https://media.publit.io/file/error-g.png
please check my website: www.smartskill.it and tell me how cann fix it
Armando, looks like you have changed public_id's of images...
This is what is on your site :
https://media.publit.io/file/w_1280,h_719,c_fit,q_80/smartskill/ebook-corso-realta-aumentata-272x161.png
And this is what is on Publitio:
https://media.publit.io/file/w_1280,h_719,c_fit,q_80/smartskill/ebook-corso-realta-aumentata-272x161.png
Simplest solution is to click Sync Now button on Plugin Settings page - it should (re)sync new urls.
Once you have that it place - DO NOT CHANGE PUBLIC ID'S NOT FOLDER FOR your site images. If you do, you will need to click Sync Now button again.
hope this helps
I've setup Publitio using a CNAME and CloudFront (Advanced configuration to allow for HTTPS).
How can i restrict access to content (specific files and/or folders) to specific users from specific IP addresses?
The solution would need to affect both cdn.mydomain.com and media.publit.io URLs.
I understand i can limit by domain (which would mean i would have to embed all content) however I'm looking for a filtering/checking version for direct linking to files.
Not possible at this moment with Publitio...
Is there a recommended ad server that will work with the player?
I can only advise to try google ads manager that they provide.
We tested with it and it works.
